Standard Exchange Policy
If you purchased your item from Benjamin Verde Incorporated or an authorized Affiliate, you can return it to the same store for an exchange with 7 days of the purchase/delivery date.
Item exchanges are subject to in-store product availability and inspection for any damages. We encourage you to check in-stock availability by calling Benjamin Verde or its Affiliate, or by viewing the product on the Affiliates Online Store to see if the item is available for pickup.
Specialized items such as computer software, video games, electronic books and custom-configured devices and audio equipment may not be eligible for exchange if you have used an Assigned Artist Advance or Grant product from Benjamin Verde.
Items ordered on the Affiliate’s Online Store that arrived damaged or are incorrect can be returned by contacting Customer Service and following the Returns Policy.
About Our Affiliate Returns Policy – (Assigned Artist Advances)
To initiate a return of an item, whether purchased from Benjamin Verde Inc., or a seller, please visit the online Help Desk. To view a seller’s return policy, click Return Items in the online Help Desk, then click the “seller profile” link to reach the seller’s storefront. From there, you can read more about the seller and its return policy.
Our online Help Desk will guide you through the return process. After packing your return, please send it back to us via Canada Post. We’ll notify you via e-mail when we’ve processed your refund.
You may return any of the following items to Benjamin Verde Inc., for any reason, for a full refund (we’ll also refund the return shipping cost, if the return is a result of our error) within 7 days of delivery of your shipment (including gifts):
- Any book in its original condition
- Any unopened (still in its plastic wrap) CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, or video game
- Any electronic device, DJ or professional audio equipment
We will not honour items returned more than 15 days past delivery. We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased at Benjamin Verde Incorporated.
Refunds not applicable to Benjamin Verde Incorporated services including but not limited to, BV Grants, Assigned Artist Advances, PR/Marketing and Audio/Visual Recordings.
Replacement of Damaged of Defective Items
If you received a defective item that is sold by Benjamin Verde Inc., and need to replace it with the same item, visit our online Help Desk to request a replacement. Items that are fulfilled by Benjamin Verde Inc., can’t be replaced, but may be returned.
Returning a Gift
Gift returns are confidential. The online Help Desk allows gift recipients and gift givers to return items fulfilled by Benjamin Verde Inc., even if the order wasn’t marked as a gift when it was purchased. The type of refund or credit you receive depends on how the gift was purchased and how it’s returned.
Once your return is processed, we’ll send an Benjamin Verde Inc., Gift Card in the amount of the returned item(s) to the e-mail address you enter on the online Help Desk form. If you’re the gift giver, you’ll receive a refund to the original payment method. You’ll need the order number to complete the returns process; this can be found on the packing slip. If you don’t have an order number, please contact us.
Electronics purchased from Benjamin Verde Inc., or a seller or authorized affiliate but has been funded/fulfilled by BV, can be returned to Benjamin Verde Inc., within 15 days of delivery of shipment via our online Help Desk. These items must be in new condition with original packaging and accessories. We cannot accept returns of products (including musical instruments, televisions, or consumer electronics) missing the serial number or UPC; we will not issue refunds for such items.
If you have obtained funding from Benjamin Verde in order to purchase professional audio equipment and wish to return, exchange or request a refund shall be less the APT Fee as per the terms of the Assigned Artist Advance program.
Reclaiming Your Collateral (Jewelry and Watches)
- Benjamin Verde Inc., will return Jewelry items and watches with a value of $75 or more, via trackable shipping methods offered by Canada Post.
- All Collateral will be returned in Benjamin Verde packaging (boxes, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal will also be returned with the item(s).
- The items being held as Collateral will be kept in a secure location and is returned upon repayment of applicable terms of funding.
Returning Shipments without a Packing Slip
If you ordered an item that you want to return but can’t find the packing slip, you can still return it via our online Help Desk. You’ll be asked to select the relevant order from Your Account and will be charged a “Restocking Fee” in the amount of $35.00 (CDN),
If you want to return an item that was given to you as a gift, you can also return it via our online Help Desk. However, you will first need to ask the person who purchased the gift for you for the order number.
